Item doesn't necessarily need to be washed
To wash:
soak in cold water for 5 minutes, rinse gently (note that yarn is easily stretched/distorted when wet)
alternatively: machine wash delicate with cold water
To dry:
DO NOT wring, this will distort the yarn
instead, pat dry with a towel
DO NOT hang, this will stretch the yarn out
instead, lay flat on towels to dry
