Don't wash every wear. Instead, opt to wash it once every few wears to keep yarn at its best quality.
To wash:
- soak in lukewarm water for 5-10 minutes, rinse gently (note that yarn can get heavy when wet and easily stretched/distorted)
To dry:
- DO NOT wring, this will distort the yarn
- instead, pat dry with a towel
- DO NOT hang, this will stretch the yarn out
- instead, lay flat on towels to dry (the best way to speed up the process is to soak up as much of the water after washing by patting with a towel)
